TRAMORE JUNIOR PROGRAM

Dear member,

This notice is for all members who have a son/daughter/relative who is a junior member of Tramore Golf club.

I am starting coaching classes in the coming weeks. As you can see below, there are two groups. The first is for all new junior members (girls & boys), and the second is for existing members (girls & boys). There are two grants available from the Golfing Union of Ireland and the Irish Ladies Golfing Union that has been included.

Group 1 (new members)

Venue: Short game area
Duration: 5 x 45min classes.
Dates: To begin in May
Group: Maximum of 8.
Content: beginner basics (G.A.S.P) Rules & etiquette

Cost: €25.

Group 2 (existing members)

Venue: Short game area
Duration: 10 x 45min classes.
Dates: To begin in May
Group: Maximum of 8.
This year for the U-14’s and upwards, there will be three sessions with a physiotherapist. This will cover basic screening and dynamic stretching exercises with two follow up sessions.
For the younger juniors, there will be basic warm up, hand-eye co-ordination skills etc
Cost: €50 (This includes 3 sessions with physiotherapist).

DATE: APRIL 4th 2013

TEE TIMES: 1.00pm-5.00pm

NUMBER OF HOLES: 9

ENTRY FEE: €15

AGE GROUPS: U-9, U-10, U-11, U-12

THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO BOYS AND GIRLS AND IS A QUALIFIER FOR THE ALL IRELAND US KIDS CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS ON MAY 13TH AT PORTMARNOCK HOTEL & GOLF LINKS.
ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE AN ADULT CADDY OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE.

RULES ON THE DAY:
No more than 10 shots at a hole
No more than. 4 putts
No more than 3 shots out of a bunker. ( After 3 attempts place a ball at nearest point of relief).
