Newtown 9 at Tramore Golf Club

The Newtown Course at Tramore Golf Club a par 35  which stretches  3,100 yards. The first hole has been carved out of the forest that originally ran between two holes on the original layout. While shorter than the other two layouts, and containing 3 Par 3’s it provides no less a challenge. The 4th hole promises to be one of the features of this exciting new challenge – a 200 yard Par 3 which a lake guarding front and left requires an accurately placed tee shot into the prevailing wind.

Highlight of the New9 is undoubtedly the challenging Par 3  9th . This has been etched out of woodland to create a natural amphitheatre with a tree lined backdrop with a sloping green guarded by a stream which meanders diagonally across from front right to back left.

The finishing stretch on this course will also test your resolve as you attempt to retain a decent score. A new Water feature on the 16th is the highlight of the home stretch.
